Iron Maids have been offering their professional laundry, ironing, wet care, and dry-cleaning service for over 10 years. In this time they have built up a reputation for a flexible, high value service that is easy to book.

Now with the current restrictions and emergence from lockdown affecting so many people, they have extended their service to offer free door-to-door delivery and collection which can be quickly and easily booked online or via the telephone.

Iron Maids introduced their innovative Wet Care cleaning system to Kent through which delicate items labelled “dry clean only” such as silk, cashmere, suede or wedding dresses can now be cleaned using carefully controlled levels of biodegradable detergents, highly accurate temperature controls and moisture extraction.

Wet Cleaning is an effective, safe, and environmentally friendly alternative to dry cleaning and has been developed to clean even the most delicate fabrics without causing any damage, ensuring items look better for longer and smell fresh with no chemical odour. This type of cleaning is also kinder to skin and the environment.

The company also provides a trusted and proven service for thorough cleaning of special items such as wedding dresses and all kinds of evening wear including ball gowns, cocktail dresses, sequin dresses, tuxedos, black tie, cummerbunds, and most other evening wear.

Iron Maids can also provide a professional cleaning service for sheepskin and Ugg boots, removing dirt, wear marks and stains to restore a just-new appearance. Other specialist services include professional cleaning of curtains and upholstery and an alteration and repair service.

The company also offer their collection and delivery service to commercial laundry, wet cleaning, and ironing. This provides businesses with additional security that all their laundry needs can be met in full without leaving the premises and also be assured of a rapid turnaround and professional service in these difficult times.
