Newington , United States - April 17, 2018 /PressCable/ —

Express Your Smile clear aligners are now offered by East Cedar Dental in New in CT. They are custom made with an affordable alternative to those with mildly crooked teeth. For less than $2,000, those who need a mild aligning of teeth now have a cost effective solution with the added benefit of reduced dental visits.

How Treatment Works

A consult with Dr. Farrokh is completed to determine treatment needs. Photographs and digital impressions are taken by a sophisticated computer program and a treatment plan is developed. The latest advanced computer technology is used to create a sequence of ten precise BPA-free aligners. Each aligner will work its magic in creating small shifts, so when treatment is complete, teeth will be perfectly aligned.

Patients are to wear the aligners for 20-22 hours per day, removing them to eat. It takes 6-9 months for full treatment, after which Express Your Smile® will send retainers and a bleaching kit to brighten the teeth.

Customized Plan

Trial aligners will be sent first to assure that they fit and are comfortable. Once the trial period ends, patients are sent five sets of aligners for lower and upper teeth that are worn for two weeks each. Before moving on to the next set of five aligners, an out-of-office consult will be completed to be sure the aligners are comfortable and fitting properly. Then, patients are sent the final set of five aligners in the mail. Finally, once treatment is complete, a free set of lower and upper retainers and bleaching kit are sent.

Express Your Smile Costs

Express Your Smile clear aligners are a fraction of the cost of other forms of teeth straigtening treatments, with an upfront payment option of $1595. Some orthodontic insurances do cover the cost and financing options are available through Express Your Smile®, allowing for any budget to receive the benefits of treatment.

Decreased Doctor Visits

Using Express Your Smile® aligners to straighten a smile is advantageous because there’s less treatment time and less doctor visits. This at-home treatment uses the most advanced technology and is more affordable than traditional orthodontic treatment.

Jul 20, 2018

LONDON — A coroner on Thursday opened an inquest into the death of a British woman who was exposed to a military grade nerve agent, while British media reported that police may have identified suspects in an attack that poisoned a former Russian spy with the same deadly substance. Senior coroner David Ridley led a brief hearing on the death of Dawn Sturgess, but said the official cause won't be given until further tests are completed. He adjourned the proceedings until January to allow time for police inquiries to continue. Sturgess, 44, and partner Charlie Rowley, 45, collapsed on June...

Premature baby penguin recovers after parents broke her egg

Jul 20, 2018

LONDON — London Zoo says a premature baby penguin has been nursed back to health after her parents accidentally stepped on her egg and broke it. The zoo says keepers were astonished to find that the female Humboldt penguin chick, nicknamed Rainbow, was still alive inside the broken egg. They rushed the chick to the zoo's clinic, where vets transferred her to an incubation chamber. The chick spent weeks cuddling with a soft toy penguin and was fed what the zoo called "penguin milkshake" — blended fish, vitamins and minerals. Penguin keeper Suzi Hyde said Thursday that the birds typically...

Rock icon Cliff Richard wins UK High Court privacy case

Jul 20, 2018

LONDON — British rock icon Cliff Richard was awarded 210,000 pounds ($273,000) in damages Wednesday after winning a privacy lawsuit against the BBC for its coverage of a police raid at his home. Richard had sued the broadcaster for its coverage of the 2014 raid, when police were investigating alleged sex offenses. The coverage included a helicopter that circled the star's home as authorities conducted a search. The 77-year-old singer was never arrested or charged with any crime. Police don't normally identify people suspected of crimes in Britain until they are charged. His lawsuit claims he suffered "profound" damage to...

Defense contractor Raytheon reaffirms its commitment to UK

Jul 20, 2018

LONDON — U.S.-based defense contractor Raytheon says it remains committed to its operations in Britain, even as other manufacturers warn that they may curtail investment because of delays in negotiations over the country's departure from the European Union. Raytheon, whose roots in Britain go back more than 100 years, sees opportunities to expand its U.K. business, regardless of Brexit, said John Harris, chief executive of the company's international unit. Several other major firms, including Airbus and Jaguar Land Rover, have warned that the lack of certainty over Britain's future relationship with the EU could force them to leave, taking tens...

Prince Harry, Meghan visit Nelson Mandela exhibition

Jul 20, 2018

LONDON — Prince Harry and his wife Meghan have visited an exhibition in London charting the life of Nelson Mandela. Peter Hain, a former anti-apartheid campaigner and chair of the Nelson Mandela Centenary Exhibition, said it was "very fitting" for the royal couple to visit because Harry does charitable work in southern Africa, and Meghan has said that Mandela is one of her heroes. Harry has visited sites associated with Mandela, including his Robben Island prison cell, and a former Mandela aide has said that Queen Elizabeth II enjoyed a solid friendship with the South African leader. Meghan chose a...
